Completing this 40 hour state required pre-licensing course, qualifies you to sit for the State of Massachusetts Real Estate License examination. The course fee includes: textbooks and multiple practices exams. Some of the topics you’ll learn: Property Ownership, Land Use Controls & Regulations, Valuation & Market Analysis, Financing, Principles of Agency, Property Condition / Disclosures, Contract Law, Transfer of Title, Fair Housing, Antitrust, Consumer Protection Laws, Real Estate Calculations, etc.

Student must attend all dates & times outlined above to receive their Certificate and qualify to sit for the state examination. If you can’t make all of the scheduled dates, students can make up missed classes.
Online class attendees are required to have their camera turned on themselves and be actively engaged for the entirety of the course. Audio must also be available for class discussions. Greenwood reserves the right to cause attendees to be removed temporarily or permanently from class(es) should the instructor(s) deem at their sole discretion, an attendee to be disruptive, noncompliant or disrespectful to others.
State Requirements: in order to qualify for examination, the student must complete the 40 hour pre-licensing course from an approved real estate school, be at least 18 years of age, pass a CORI background check, and submit a properly complete application for examination. Applicants cannot be on probation or parole at the time of application. The Board of Registration for Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons reserves the right to question any past felony or criminal charges and determine the candidates eligibility or ineligibility of examination. All state income taxes must be filed and paid. If applicant has entered into a payback agreement for state income taxes owed, this is acceptable.
